Allocations
United Way of Lake County distributes approximately $2 million to more than 75 programs through the allocation grant distribution review process. This process has grown and changed over the many years that we have distributed grant money through the community. Over the past two years, United Way of Lake County program committees have revised the allocation review process to reflect the four programs that United Way of Lake County is focusing on:
Each program now has “desired conditions” that we are striving to meet. Every year, United Way of Lake County will address a desired condition from each of our four program areas. This year we are focusing on the desired conditions for parent engagement for our education programs and breaking the cycle of poverty for our Safe and Stable Families Program.
