About the United Way of Lake County Allocations Process or Three Year Impact Grants

United Way of Lake County distributes approximately $1.1 million to more than 67 programs through the Three Year Impact Grants or Allocations Grant distribution review process. This process has grown and changed over the many years that we have distributed grant money through the community. Over the past three years, United Way of Lake County program committees have revised the allocation review process to reflect the four programs that United Way of Lake County is focusing on:

Every year, United Way of Lake County will address a desired condition from each of our four program areas. This past year we focused on desired conditions pertaining to parent engagement for our education programs and breaking the cycle of poverty for our Safe and Stable Families Program.

United Way of Lake County has partnered with over 67 unique community partnerships throughout Lake County for the 2013-2014 fiscal year. We are proud to call these organizations community partners.
