Internships

Are you or someone you know looking for a rewarding and challenging opportunity to intern with a dynamic non-profit organization? United Way of Lake County has been making sure that the Lake County community has what it needs to succeed for over 80 years. We have internship positions available that can give you the chance to experience first-hand how you can impact this success. Internships are unpaid.

You will receive supervised, hands-on, practical knowledge that is directly related to your area of study. This experiential learning will prepare you for positions in the non-profit arena or hone your skills for the corporate, for-profit sector.

Please note that all of our internships are learning experiences. The student intern is not replacing a regular staff position. Both United Way and the student understand that no wages will be given for the internship period.

Below is a listing of current internship opportunities. While we may not always be able to fill each position, we welcome the opportunity to learn about you. Please fax or e-mail a cover letter and resume to 847-775-1001 or uwlc@uwlakeco.org.
