Product Donations/In-Kind Donations
United Way of Lake County accepts product donations of new of gently used education materials that benefit disadvantaged schools and the families they serve. Product donations helps schools to provide their students with necessary items at no cost. Donations are tax deductible. For examples of appropriate items, please see below:

|
New or gently used children's books for all ages (English, Spanish and bilingual)

|
New or gently used children's clothing (socks, shoes, winter outerwear and new underwear)

Educational Games and Toys
|
New or gently used educational toys for preschool-aged children. Games that promote learning for elementary age students. Math, science, and reading hands-on manipulatives for all ages.

Educational Magazines
|
Magazines no more than a year old of Times for Kids, Kids Discover, National Geographic Kids, etc.

|
Musical Instruments
|
New or gently used musical instruments of all kinds
|
|
School Supplies
|
New backpacks and supplies.
|
|
School Uniforms
|
White collared shirts; navy blue pants (no jeans).
|
|
Technology
|
iPad, document camera, promethean board, listening centers, tablets, educational DVDs
|
