Staff Spotlight: Elaine Rezotko
We are pleased to introduce our newest staff member, Elaine Rezotko. Elaine is the Resource Development Specialist with our Resources Development team. Keep reading to learn more about her role, what she likes to do in her free time and how she connects to the programs we offer at United Way of Lake County (UWLC)!
When did you start working at UWLC?
I started working at United Way of Lake County on February 1st, 2021.
What is your title and role?
My title is Resource Development Specialist and my role is administrative tasks in the Resource Development department, but I also do a lot of work in our database.
What made you want to be a part of this organization?
UWLC has such an impact locally, on my neighborhood and community, and I am excited to do a lot more work with data.
Which of UWLC’s programs do you connect to most and why?
I connect to the Success By 6 program. Both of my parents are educators, and my mother teaches elementary school. I have heard about the struggles of trying to get children to the level other students are at.
What is your favorite part of your job here?
Data! I am sort of joking; I love the different personalities and I really can feel the support everyone has for each other. But also learning a new database and how it works and how UWLC can utilize it to further the mission is one of my favorite work-based things to do.
When you are not at work, what kinds of things do you do with your time?
I spend time with my husband and our precious pup Glenjamin, Glen for short. I also read a TON, and play a fair amount of video games, most recently Stardew Valley.
