United Way of Lake County has been making sure that the Lake County community has what it needs to succeed for over 75 years.
Women United Coordinator
Partners with local donors to raise funds for UWLC programs and initiatives. Deepens donor relationships with United Way of Lake County and Women United by supporting volunteer events. Develops and enhances new and existing relationships with internal and external donors and provides value to Women United community impact initiatives. Assists with resource development division responsibilities as needed.
AmeriCorps VISTA
United Way is participating in the AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) program. This national program has provided us with top-of-the-line staff members, allowing us to significantly expand our programs to reach more children and their families in Lake County. Each volunteer member makes a full-time, year-long commitment to serve on a specific project at a nonprofit organization or public agency.

Support our Kindergarten Countdown Camp as an AmeriCorp VISTA member.
All VISTA applications are required to be submitted through the MyAmeriCorps Portal (links above). All applications will be reviewed by Midwest Region staff before candidates are placed into service.
