Early Learning Club (ELC) provides children entering kindergarten the basic skills they need to be ready and able to learn, and empowers parents as their child’s first teacher.
Parents attend with their children and receive creative and fun tools to teach their children at home, better preparing them to enter school. Curriculum covers colors, shapes, counting, letter recognition and reading.
Early Learning Club sessions take place at community locations such as churches, schools, libraries, and community organizations, and are taught by trained volunteers including pre-school teachers, retired teachers, librarians and community leaders.
