United Way Hosts Executive Forum Event on Business Innovation

On October 18th, we hosted an Executive Forum at Independence Grove in Libertyville. Over 120 business executives and community members gathered to hear from a panel of industry leaders sharing insights on using technology as a driver for business innovation. Our panelists included:

Better Together: From a Mother’s Perspective

To share a glimpse into our Better Together Program – continuing this fall at Green Bay Elementary School in North Chicago – we interviewed a mother who is participating in the program with her son. Ana discussed how her family has benefited from the program and shared the changes she has seen in her son.

Save the Date: Giving Tuesday – November 28, 2017

Giving Tuesday is a global holiday dedicated to giving back to your local community and takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Join this global movement by supporting United Way of Lake County. For the third year in a row, Procter and Gamble will be matching 100% of Giving Tuesday donations up to $6,500. A matching gift means that our impact will double for children and families that need and deserve our help.
